My name is [NAVN A] and I’m 17. I live in the United States, Chicago. I am helping homeless people voluntarily because I want the homeless to have a good Christmas as possible. I am helping to feed the homeless people on Christmas Day at the Homeless Shelter to ensure the spirit and tradition of the holiday for the homeless.
My family is considerate and my dad has always told me if you can do a difference for anyone then you have to do it. And when I was 16 I found out about the homeless shelter and thought I had to help when I can. And I am really happy that my dad always has told me to help. So, I have decided to come here every year from now on to help the homeless people to have a good Christmas day. My dad is proud and happy with what I am doing. So, he has joined me this year to help and to see what I am doing.
I am helping with the second meal from 4 pm to 6 pm. There are many homeless around that time and they are all really happy that we will help them. Everyone is happy and smiling. And you get into conversions with really many people and I learn so much of all the stories and conversations.
