Dunkirk I would say the operation “The evacuation of the British army” was a big success. Because the goal was to get 30.000 soldiers, but it ended with a big surprise. Instead of 30.000 men, it was 300.000 men who where evacuated to England. Since it was a success for the Germanys to attack, and push back the British, and the French forces back to Dunkirk, then surround the forces, it shows that the German has well proven tactics with the use of tanks and arrow planes.
