Things can be seen in differ from a young person and a parent. Young people often just think about what’s going on now and about 8 hours in the future, but when you are an adult you’ll see it’s a bad idea in a longer term. So, you, as a teenager, won’t understand why they might say no. It can be hard for parents to say no, because then you must discuss with your teenager, why you are saying no.

But when are teenager old enough to control their own life? I think it’s up to the parents to choose, like when you are old enough to drink alcohol or when you have to be home from a party. Off course they should speak to their teenager about what they think, so they can find a solution for all of them, so everybody agree with each other.

When I talk to my parents about what I can do and what I can’t do, they often say to me, what they think is best for me and after wood they’ll say I can choose whatever I want, but I know they will be disappointed if I doesn’t do what they think is best. I started drinking alcohol in an early age, and I can remember my parents being angry on me, but now when I’m more grown up, I can understand why they were worried.
