Analytical essay The Charge of the Light Brigade Summary: The Charge of the Light Brigade from 1854, by Alfred Lord Tennyson is a poem about six hundred soldiers who fought against the Russian army. The poem addresses the courage, bravery and fearlessness the Light Brigade had acquired before facing an unwinnable War. The soldiers rode into the battlefield knowing it was a deadly charge. They charged without questioning anything and they continued on, determined to do the mission for which they had come to complete. They faced Russian cannons from all sides whilst riding towards the Valley of death. The
