Plastikaffald: årsager, effekter og løsninger

In the video, they start out with showing a picture of high end clothe, they then explain that the clothe is made of plastic from Haiti. The way they collect this plastic is by the locals. A women made a firm, who buy the plastic from the locals who collects it, and sells it to the clothing companies, who then have a separate firm to make it into tread. There is one problem for the women, and that is that the plastic economy changes a lot. At some moment it does not pay off for the locals to collect the plastic, because they get so little for what they collect. In the video it is explained how the tread is made. First they crush the plastic into small pieces, then they wash it, then they ground it up. At last it is then made into tread by melting it. They also explain how the plastic islands and the plastic overall in our seas, pollutions our environment. The big plastic waste kills animals by strangling them, or chokes on them. It ends off with showing the products there can be made with plastic, and then it says that the more plastic tread the companies use, the more trash is getting picked up in the oceans.
