Charlie's new life

Once upon a time there was a boy named Charlie, he was 16 years old. Charlie was very clever at school. But at the same time, he didn’t have a lot of friends. But he enjoyed his life, with his mom and dad in America. He’s adopted, and he’s dark-skinned, but his parents have still not told him that he was adopted. One day his father gets an E-mail where it said he got job, after a very long time. The mail he got, said the job was in Denmark, he had the opportunity to earn a lot of money. So, the family decided to move to Denmark, the day after. But Charlie didn’t like the idea, he was enjoying his life in America, where all went good for him. Mom I don’t want to live in Denmark, I want to stay in America, Charlie said. The mom came to Charlie and gave him a big hug. It will be good, your father will finally get a job, after so long. He will earn a big amount of money, and that could help us with a lot of things. Charlie was very mad, and didn’t want to change his mind. I want to live here mom! The mother knew Charlie would be mad, so she bought him a surprise. Stay here, don’t move! The mom walked quickly to the kitchen, and then she walked back to Charlie while trying to hide the big gift she bought. Well, I know it’s hard to say goodbye to your friends and your life here. But because of that I bought you a new Computer! You can call your friends on medias, with your new computer. Charlie began to smile and hugged her mom. You’re the best mom, I always wanted a new Computer. The next day, they got to their new house after a long time in the Airplane. Charlie’s parents called a private school where Charlie could go. The next day, Charlie and his parents woke early up, to get ready for work and school. Charlie got told by some of the teachers where his class was. Before he walked in the class, he took a deep breath, and then walked weirdly inside the class. Everyone looked at Charlie, no one said hi, It was very quiet. Then the teacher came, and introduced Charlie, he didn’t understand a word what she said. Charlie got bored, and looked at his shoes for a bit. Then just out of nowhere the whole class shouted Welcome to our class Charlie! And everyone started to stand up, and introduced themselves to him in front of the class. Charlie got many new friends, but they didn’t speak good English. Sometimes when they spoke, he got annoyed, because they had very bad grammar. And their accents sounded worse than the grammar, Charlie wanted to laugh, but kept it inside. Some of them also just came, from another country. A brown-haired boy walked towards Charlie. Hey, nice to meet a person, who just moved to this country, Just like me! Charlie began to smile, and didn’t move at all. Where are you from? Charlie said. I’m from Poland, and you? The boy looked at Charlie with some big eyes. I’m from America, basically the same weather as here, and what was your name again? My name is Cosmin, do you want to be friends? And from that day, Charlie and Cosmin decided to be best friends. And they had a lot of good time together. But one day after school, Charlie and his friend Cosmin, were outside of the library .They talked about, books they read in the weekends. When some pupils walked past Charlie, they stopped, and looked funny at Charlie. How does it feel to look like your own poop? Haha, just go back to your country nigger. Charlie froze and didn’t say anything, while having his mouth closed. How does it feel like to be a racist person? just leave us alone, Cosmin said. Some of the boys friends, pushed Cosmin away. Charlie began slowly to walk backwards, but there was a chubby guy who was the boys friend. Charlie got surrounded by all of the bullies, and got very scared. But then suddenly out of nowhere all Charlie’s classmates came, with a teacher. The teacher took the boys to her room, and she got very mad at them. Eh.. Thanks a lot, Said Charlie happily. We’re not just a class, we’re a family, said Mathilde from Charlie’s class smiling. After that, Charlie began to like the culture in Denmark, he got good grades in class. His parents earned a lot of money, so they bought him new games he could play in his new Computer. Charlie and Cosmin played computer with each other online every day. And already after 2 years, the two boys started to speak Danish. Started to communicate to their classmates more. Every time someone tried to bully Charlie his classmates stood up for him, it was like a second family for him. He went to Lego land a lot with his dad. Charlie calls his old friends sometimes from America, he never forgets them. His new life, changed him, he’s a lot more outside with his new friends. His parents are proud of him, and he began to enjoy his life again.
