The book is about a little, poor boy named Charlie Bucket. He wins a golden ticket to Willy Wonka’s chocolate factory. Willy Wonka, the famous chocolate maker, hid four golden tickets in his chocolate bars worldwide. And lucky Charlie finds one of the golden tickets in his chocolate bar that he got for his birthday. Charlie is then invited to the enormous chocolate factory with four other kids and their parents. Willy Wonka guided them through the whole chocolate factory. And he says that one of the kids will win a special prize at the end.

I like this book because it makes me laugh and makes me want to read it. My favorite character is absolutely Willy Wonka because he is a bit rude to the kids, and I really love his humor and the way he talks. My favorite part of the book it is, where Veruca Salt is going down to the squirrels, because I believe she deserves that for being too sassy. I love the scenes, where Willy Wonka set the kids straight, and they don’t have anything to say. And I also like the scenes where Willy Wonka has a flashback, for example when someone asks him if he has a father.
