Maybe you have watched the movies, or maybe you have heard of Twilight and want some more background information about who Edward Cullen is, and why he is one of my absolute favourite characters.
My favourite movie character is Edward Cullen (born Edward Anthony Masen, Jr., on June 20th, 1901 in Chicago, Illinois). He is one of the main characters in the movie series “Twilight”. The movies are about a vampire who is a part of a vampire family. They think of themselves as “vegetarians”, meaning that they don’t drink human blood they only feed off animals.
Edward was born in 1901, and was turned into a vampire in 1918, by his now adoptive father Carlisle Cullen, as the only alternative to death. He was only 17 years old, and he has stayed looking like he is 17 ever since. Edward is a telepathic vampire who, over the course of the series, falls in love with, marries, and has a child with Bella Swan, a human teenager who later chooses to become a vampire as well.
In the movie Edward meets Bella, who just moved from Phoenix in Arizona, to Forks in Washington where her father lives. Edward and Bella meet in their high school in forks, and they fall in love after a brief period.
