From motion pictures such as “Mean Girls” to films like “A Walk to Remember” and “The Perks of Being a Wallflower” it nowadays appears to be quite common for average teenagers to long for their greatest relationship of their life as early as during their high school years. But what do you do, when that one and only person, who makes your heart stop when he glances at you, seems to be beyond your reach? That is for instance what the main character, Bella Swan, faces when she falls in love with Edward Cullen in “A Twilight Parody”, which is written by Lizzievamp1901 in 2009. As it appears from the title it is a parody of Stephenie Meyer’s outermost romantic book “Twilight” from her vampire-themed book collection of four, “The Twilight Saga”.

The protagonist, Isabella Swan or just Bella Swan as she prefers it, is first of all not exceptional in any way. She is by way of example neither a competent athlete nor a genius and has no particularly remarkable skills. In other words, Bella Swan is just an absolutely ordinary high school student, who recently moved to a tiny town in Washington state named Forks to live with her dad, Charlie. In addition to that, there are not mentioned any siblings or a mother that perhaps could be related to Bella, and we can therefore assume that she is a lonely child.
