Abstract This paper examines the inequality in the world and how mathematics can be used to show the message of the movie "Flatland" (2007) by Dano Johnson and Jeffrey Travis. The animated movie contains good examples of the structure of society and how hierarchy can control the country. The paper contains an account of constructions of mathematical figures and a short comparison of a circle and a ball.
