Crime and violence

Crime and violence to me is very mixed, it can be used for good stuff and it can be used for bad stuff.

The weapon law. The weapon law in Denmark says that it’s illegal to purchase, own, carry or use an firearm or just other dangerous weapon or knives without permission from the police. The age. Well the law here in Denmark says that you have to be 20 years old or had have been active as a shooter at least 2 years in a association or in a club, if you want to buy a gun. You have to be 18 to buy a rifle, but 16 year olds can get to own a rifle with just their parents approval.

If we look at these two laws I would say that I partly disagree and agree. I agree on that point, that the police have to give permission, it’s just a bit more safe to know that they are aware, even though you could hide the gun, rifle or whatever you buy, if you wanted to.

And then i disagree regarding to the age. Yes you are an adult when you are 20, already when you are 18, but 16 years old, I would say that it’s too young to handle a which kind of weapon, I mean as 16 you probably is in high school, and you can so easily fake a parents signature and that (If we overthink) can cause a school shooting if so.
