Alexander Betts uses negative words to describe what is going on after the United Kingdom voted to leave The European Union. For example, “That complete meltdown was made even worse by the most tragic element of its levels of xenophobia and racist abuse in the streets of Britain at a level that I have never seen before in my lifetime.”

I have chosen to write a blog because I want my ideas to be challenged by the British people who wanted to remain in the European Union, I especially want my ideas to be challenged by young Britons in the age of 18 to 24, where 75% of them voted to remain in the European Union.
Recently I stumbled upon a TedTalk about Brexit with Alexander Betts for research purpose. Alexander Betts talks about how shocked he was to find out that 51,9% of the British people voted to leave the European Union, because of a referendum giving by the former prime minister, who thought that the majority of Britain would vote to stay in the European Union, but instead committed political suicide by doing so. Alexander Betts accuses the leave voters as xenophobic and brainwashed, but he fails to inform, that majority of the leave voters voted, because of sovereignty and not because of immigration.
