The referendum should decide if the UK should remain a member of, or leave the European Union. 51,89% of the 33.551.893 valid votes, was in favor of leaving the Union. Former Prime-minister David Cameron announced his resignation, the day after the referendum and left office the 13th of July. Alexander Betts is a British social scientist, and talked in TEDSummit back in 2016. He talked about what Brexit represented for the world, what people can do about it, and how people should respond to it. |
