Loser It is no secret that we live in a materialistic society today. Everything is about money, money and yeah, money. There is a constant desire to always own more than everybody else, if you are not one of the people who owns a lot, you are a loser. Chuck Palahniuk was able to write about this issue through another perspective in his short story Loser. The short story is about a typical TV show, but not as typical contestant. The contestant takes drugs before entering the show, because he and his friends thought it would be fun. Of course
