When Nelson Mandela was released from jail after 27 years It was in 1990 on Monday the 11th of February. A historic day from the whole world. 27 years was passing, and then it was time for Nelson Mandela to become a free man. In 1965 he was sentenced to imprisonment. And during the 27 years, he got a lot of work like penalties. Nelson Mandela was a freedom fighter, and he fought for black people’s rights. He fought against the apartheid regime.
