We will start our presentation by showing you a video, telling you something about the mafia group, Camorra:

The video tells you why Camorra is the bloodiest mafia group in Italy.

As it appears from the video, a lot of people were killed by Camorra. People were killed, if they didn’t pay their protection money, if they threatened to reveal secret information concerning Camorra, if they were lawyers of the victims, or if someone paid Camorra to kill them.

But who is Camorra? Where does Camorra come from? And how does the government deal with Camorra?

Camorra is known for being Italy’s bloodiest mafia group. Camorra comes from the Italian region Campania with the capital Naples. Camorra is one of the largest and oldest mafia groups. Camorra originates from the 18th century.

In the 17th century, a lot of small gangs joined the group. It started to grow, and got more and more members. Eventually, the police feared this criminal organization so much that the police did not dare to do anything against Camorra’s gambling houses even though gambling was illegal. Some of the gang members even made the players in their gambling houses to pay protection money (if they did not pay, Camorra let the police come after the gamblers).
