On the morning of April 20, 1999, Dylan Klebold, 17 years old, and Eric Harris, 18, walked into Columbine High School, outside Denver, and shot to death 13 students wounding more than 20 oth¬ers, before turning their guns on themselves and committing suicide. Their actions were the result of a yearlong plot that included plans to blow up the school and kill as many as 500 people. At 11:10 a.m. Harris and Klebold had arrived in their cars at Columbine High School, on the morning of the massacre, dressed in black coats and brought explosive firearms.
