1. The movie “This is England” is about a 12 year old boy called Shaun. He and he’s mother lives in a small house. He has no father he died in the Falklands war. Shaun is bullied at school because of his pants. Shaun is a quiet boy until the day where he meets a small group of so called Skinheads. The leader of the group “Woody” persuades Shaun to join their group and soon Shaun is doing all kinds of criminal things. Shaun is having a great time. But one day one of Woody’s old friends who has been to prison comes. And suddenly it is not so funny. Woody’s friend who is called Combo is a ticking bomb. Woody and some other decide to leave the group. But Shaun stays. To begin with Combo seems to be a good guy but they soon find out that he is up to no good. Shaun and Combo’s gang is having a good time to start with but when Combo starts to show who he really is the reality starts to show. Combo is a violent guy and he will do whatever it takes for him to get what he is after. One evening Combo, Shaun and the rest of the gang is hanging out. They are drinking and smoking even Shaun is drinking. A black guy called “Milky” starts to talk about how good he’s family is and how they make good food and take care of each other. That makes Combo really angry and jealous. He starts to hit and kick Milky. When he cools down he regrets what he had done and gets Milky to the hospital. Then Combo gets back in prison and Shaun makes things right with Woody.
