Dear diary. My name is Chloe Brown. I am 19 years old and I live in England with my little sister Hazel who is 15 years old. We have been staying at our aunt and uncle’s house for about 9 years. This is really hard for me to tell even though it’s 9 years ago, but I would try to tell you my story when I was on titanic… The 10th of May 1912 was a long-awaited day in my family. We were going to the new cruse, titanic. I remember the day clearly. We got onboard and I was thrilled. My family and I were the second-class passengers. It was some stunning day until the night between the 14th and 15th. On the evening of the 14th my family and I ate dinner. My sister and I went to bed after the dinner while our parents had some drinks at the bar. I couldn’t sleep that night. I felt like some was wrong, but I didn’t know what. But then finally, I fell asleep. “We are sinking! We are sinking!”. I woke up and heard all the shouts. It took me a minute or two before I realized what was happening. A tear rolled down my cheek, but I wiped it away. I needed to be strong. I jumped out of my bed and woke up my sister. Our mom and dad weren’t here jet. “Hurry up!”, I tried to keep calm, but I couldn’t. I pulled my sister out to the hallway. A bunch of people surrounded us. I looked confused around after our parents, but they were not to be found. “Girls, come with me” an employee said, and we did what we were told. I still pulled my Hazel sister with me. It’ was dark outside, but some lighting lit everything up. We followed the employee up to the deck where all the safety boats were. Everyone trusts each other and tried to get on a safety boat. “I have two little girls, move away!” the man said. The ship dived downwards so it was difficult to stay still. I have never been so scared before I could tell from my sister’s face, she also was scared. “But what about our parents, they need to get safe” I hesitated. “It doesn’t matter about them right now; we just need to get you safe first” he answered. “They can be on this safety boat” another employee said. “Do everything the tells you to do!” he said and pushed us over there. “Come onboard”, I jumped on to the safety boat and a man lifted Hazel up to me. The boat got lowered to the water. I looked at my sister who was crying. “Hazel, it’s okay, I’m sure mom and dad will get safe” I said even though I was in doubt. I held her until we fell asleep and the next thing I remember is when we came home to our aunt and uncle and they toll us our parents didn’t got saved.
