'Diary of a Wimpy Kid' filmanalyse

I have chosen “Diary of a Wimpy Kid” because it was the first film I could think about, and it is a film I really enjoyed. I have seen all the “Diary of a Wimpy Kid” films, and they are always enjoyable. I especially liked the first film the most. Some people will say it is a child movie, but I would say it is a film for everyone. A ten-year-old boy can enjoy it, and so can my English teacher. That is what I think makes it special. Some films are for children, some for adults. But this one has a humoristic sense for children, teenagers and adults. The way the children are talking, good old memories from my own childhood, and a lot of funny scenes, is what catches me.

The film is a comedy and I would call it a family film too. Like I said in the first question, it is for everyone with a good sense of humor.

In the trailer you get to know all the good information about Greg, and you can see from the start of the trailer that he is the main character. You also get to know all the supporting characters, for example Rowley, Patty and Chirag.The information are well-chosen and I can already see in the start of the film, that Greg is a downer, and he do not feel welcome when he hits middle school. Boys are shaving, girls are trash talking and most of them are older and taller than him.But you can also get too much information in the trailer. After you have watched the trailer, you can tell that Greg and his brother hates each other, he quite a loser, he don’t have much friends and he is not very masculine and mature
