It all went well, my mother and father had just returned from honeymoon, Easter vacation was over and it was everyday life again. I remember one day I came home from school, my mom sat and wept in the chair and dad sat on the sofa whit a letter in his hand. I asked what was wrong, but dad just said to me that I should go into the room with my little brothers and see some cartoons. I was later called into the room where dad still sat with a letter in his hand. He gave it to me and said that I should read it carefully. There stood that dad was posted to Iraq, he had to travel in a week and stay there for 11 months. I suddenly understood why mom sat and wept so I went out just so I did not begin to cry myself.
After one week, and dad had left, I was sure that it could not go more down the hill, but I could quickly think again. Mom had had the bad in a few months so she went to the hospital to get checked what was wrong. The phone rang and it was up from the hospital. They said that mom had been hospitalized and whether we had the opportunity to come up there. We took the bus and got to the hospital 10 minutes after. As the largest of 4 children, it was me that the doctor would talk to. He said that mom had been diagnosed with breast cancer and had begun to get chemo.
