It is a tough question. There are as many opinions. Because there are so many different opinions about CCTV's, I think, unfortunately, not being currently.
I have seen many TV programs from England where they have camera surveillance. In the programs, it seems like it is a good thing and works. Britain's police solves many crimes each year by the use of surveillance cameras. Why not getting surveillance in Denmark.
I do not think that there must be surveillance camera everywhere. However, there should at least be surveillance places that need surveillance. As an example, they crowded places, places with nightclubs, places that is overrepresented in the states statistics and places that need it.
I think there had to be more surveillance on the streets in the big cities, because there are increasing number of violence things. Many of the things could be prevented or solved if there have been surveillance on the streets. Prevented because criminals might not make so many illegalities because of monitoring degree of fear and solved because the police would have a lot more clues to follow, description of person, number of people, the directions of escape and other clues that could help to solve the crime.
