The article talks about how much they drink in English-speaking countries, and how big of a problem it actually is. They talk about that in English-speaking countries they actually drink almost every week. They asked the people about how often they drink, and they drink on average about 51 times a year. They also showed a graph that shows the ranking of the countries that drink the most in the world. The graph shows us that the top four is English-speaking countries, that have the biggest problem with alcohol, and that something has to be done. They talk about how to put bigger focus on this topic and make people drink more moderate, and that drinking should not be the main point of the evening. The article also talks about how many women that have been taken advantage of when drunk or high, which is around a third of the people they surveyed. The majority of those incidents take place at a private party, and that 43% didn’t report the incident to the police because they felt as they felt partly responsible. We also read that the UK aren’t great at receiving any kind of support to their drinking problem. They also spoke to some professors that said too much is bad, and that there should be a guideline to drinking safely, so people know the difference between being a little drunk and very drunk.
