The lottery takes place in the square between the post office and the bank. The setting could be described as very normal and lazy in some way. The weather support this. It’s in the middle of the summer vacation and children are running around in the heat. “The morning of June 27th was clear and sunny, with the fresh warmth of a full-summer day;” 2. Describe the change in the atmosphere.
