I am not one of those kids who dreamed big about being, for example, an astronaut since they were 8 and worked hard to achieve it and make their dreams come true. I’m 16 now and I still haven’t decided what I want to be. Until then, I was only trying to keep my grades highest possible because that opens many doors for me and gives me the opportunity to basically study anything I want later.
Everybody grows up. Most people think that the “teen years” are the most difficult. We all go through puberty and we grow hair a lot of weird places, but these things are far from the worst.
A lot of young girls experience eating disorders like anorexia, bulimia, and many more. The cores are mostly that in the teen years you start caring a lot about how they look. They look in the magazines, at the posters, etc. and see all of the beautiful ladies and think. “hmm I want to look just like that” and then they start losing weight by not eating. In fact, about 1-3% of young people between 15-24 have anorexia or bulimia, but over 25% fear an eating disorder and start losing or gaining weight.
