pril 20th 1999, two 18 years old student from the Columbine High School went shooting and killing students and teachers with difference kind of guns and bombs.
In Jefferson County, Colorado in US, something very dramatic and horrible happened. Two student from the Columbine High School, Eric Harris and Dylan Klebold, shoot and killed 12 students and one teacher, while another 24 students and teachers was seriously wounded.
It all started at lunchtime while most of the students were having lunch in Columbine High School's cafeteria. But no one got killed in the cafeteria, because some of them got away. 10 minutes before the shooting, Eric Harris and Dylan Klebold placed 2 bombs in the cafeteria . The bomb were supposed to go off 11.17 o’clock, when the cafeteria were filled with college students. Eric Harris and Dylan Klebold would then stand at the exits, and shoot those running students. But something got wrong for Eric Harris and Dylan Klebold. The bombs did not go off, and Eric and Dylan chose to go inside the school and shoot.
The nightmare started outside the Columbine High School. Eric and Dylan stood with all their weapons and prepared the attack. They shot and killed the first 3 college students. Some of the students inside the school, could hear shots from outside. A teacher stood on a table and trying to calm the students down, and told them that there were someone shooting outside the school, and they had to get away. The students panicked. Some students were lucky and ran away from the school in time, while others ran into classrooms and hiding under tables. The rumor was quickly spread to the entire school. The people up in the library heard shots as well, and a teacher called the police.
