Long, long time ago before the proud Vikings excited in this phenomenal country Denmark. Denmark was in its best time. The grass was green, the sky was blue, and you could hear the chirping of the birds. Denmark was all flat, no mountains only some small hills. At that time Bornholm was attached to Zealand and was just like any other big towns in Zealand. But until someday the peace vanished, because the people in Bornholm started fishing too much. It was a huge delicacy for the people who lived in the town. But the problem was that you could smell the awful smell of fish all over the country even in north-Jutland and south-Jutland. The Danes wasn’t happy about it and wanted to do something about it immediately. They asked them if they could fish a little less. The fishermen in Bornholm got so mad and started yelling at them. They didn’t care if the hole Denmark smelled of fish, they liked the smell.

Now the Danes really had to think this through, how could they get the people in Bornholm to stop fishing that much?

So, they came up with a great idea and they decided to blow Bornholm away. Far away. Denmark sliced Bornholm off Zealand and ordered a big giant cloud, which should blow them away. The cloud used all its powers and blew Bornholm far away. Bornholm ended up crashing into Sweden and bounce right out in the sea again. The crash gave Bornholm rocks all over the landscape. Even though it was blown far over towards Sweden, are Bornholm still a part of the danish country, but the Danes did not have to smell them ever again and that was the important thing. After Bornholm had been separated from Denmark and lays by itself are everyone happy, the fishermen can fish as much as they want and the most important thing, Denmark is free from an awful smell.
