Racisme: Ignore it... And it won't go away

I was wondering, why racism is such a big problem in the world today. I think it’s so horrible, that if your skin is black then you don’t have the same rights, like if your skin is white. In Denmark it’s more religion problems, than skin color problems. In USA and France it’s more skin problems than religion problems.

Yesterday I was on Facebook and I read an article, about a black man who couldn’t get a job in a supermarket, because he was black. The supermarket told the man, that they will lose costumers if there was a black employee. The black man got frustrated, and hit the boss and was sent to jail.

I understand the black man’s frustrations, but I can’t understand his behavior. This episode shows that in USA the segregation is line just below the surface, and is an old phenomena. That means that segregation is a culture in USA, because in the American history the segregation was a natural thing. It began when the American held slavery, and therefore looked at the black as animals.

I think if you have to do something about segregation racism in the world, then you have to begin with the children. You have to bring them up with an understanding of, that all people are equal and it doesn’t have anything to do with the color of the skin. In the further when I have to bring up my children, this would be an issue for me.
