Slide: Day of 9/11The day of the attack 11, 2001 was like any other day, just simple and normal, people going to work and living out their boring lives. People didn't understand what was going on until it happened. On this day four planes got hijacked between the time of 7:59-8:42 from different airports around America, 2 from Boston, 1 from DC and 1 from Newark. The four planes were then off to California. At 8:46 American airline flight 11 hit the north tower not long after at 9:03 the south tower was struck by flight 175 marking that this was no accident but a planned attack. The twin towers were not the only target of the terrorist attack. Tuesday morning, an American Airlines Boeing 767 loaded with 20,000 gallons of jet fuel crashed into the north tower of the World Trade Center in New York City. This was the beginning of four hijacked plane attacks. All the planes were hijacked at the time of 7:59-8:42 at different airports in different states 2 of the planes were hijacked at Boston while the remaining 2 were taken from DC and Newark. Flight 175 and 11 were the ones to hit the 2 towers.
