11 September 2001 four planes were hijacked by terrorists with connection to the Al-Qaeda. The first plane hit the north tower, the tower didn’t collapse on impact. The people, there was working below were the plane hit, had time to make it out, but if they haven’t help either many more would have died, because the doors were electric. That meant the doors had to be forced open for people to get to the stairs.Fifth teen minutes later the next plane hit the south tower, but the numbers of dead are smaller, because people were starting to get out before impact.2606 people died in New York and over 400 of them were firefighters or policemen.The third plane hit Pentagon in Washington DC, Pentagon is a huge military office. The third plane killed 125 people at Pentagon. Pentagon isn’t a high-rise, which made it hard for the destruction to spread like the twin towers. The fourth plane crashed down on a field in Pennsylvania, because the passengers tried to regain the power over the plane. Nobody knows where plane was headed, but many believe the target was in the nation’s capital Washington DC. On the four planes 246 people died, 19 of them were the terrorists.
