In Bowling for Columbine, Michael Moore investigates why more than 11,000 U.S. deaths are due to guns. The name Bowling for Columbine refers to the Columbine High school massacre where two students were responsible for a horrible attack. Moore managed to interview students who were at the shooting to hear how the two students being responsible for the attack behaved in the everyday life. In the movie, we hear about several of the tragic events in the United States and what the American citizens think about the weapon culture. Michael Moore interviews everything from ordinary citizens to people who work in gun shops. He is strongly critical of the American gun culture and is trying to figure out how to change it. We find ourselves at many different locations, such as the harsh neighborhoods of the United States and at Windsor a city near Detroit in Canada. Michael Moore interviews citizens of Canada to hear how the gun culture is there and what they think about USA gun culture. He also interviews a policeman at Windsor to hear how many murders they have. The policeman could only remember one murder in the last three years which was a guy from Minnesota with a stolen gun. In general, we hear a lot of interesting statistics about guns and murders that compare the USA to other countries in the world.
