Review af kortfilmen 'Noah'

The short film “Noah” tells the story of a teenage boy named Noah, who’s in a relationship with a girl named Amy. Next year Noah and his girlfriend will be in different locations, which makes their relationship difficult. That is the reason why they are talking, about what is going to happen next year. But suddenly Amy loses her internet connection, which ended the call.

This makes Noah concern because he believes that she will end things with him, but he quickly discovers that a boy called Dylan Ramshaw, who has commented on Amy’s profile pictures. Noah gets mad, and he decided to hack her Facebook account to read the messages between Amy and Dylan. and collect “proof” of her alleged betrayal. He decided that he had seen enough and came to a decision to change her “relationship status” from in relationship to single. This could indicate that he does not trust Amy enough, to be sure that she loves him.

I believe that the main theme is "our use of social media". It's the site where we see him the most, where he's most engaged, such as Facebook, and where everything he talks/writes about is somehow related to social media. It's also how he communicates with his buddies. 15:03 is a good example. He asks her about her Facebook.
