Well if you are reading this letter, I’m glad, because that means you are safe. That’s all I ever wanted. I don’t want you to think about me, because I will always think about you, and I’ll always be in your heart. I wish I could be there with you. But don’t cry, because if I’m gone, I know that I would be a lot happier in heaven than in “out-with”. I’m probably on the other side of the fence, because I had to help my friend Shmuel, find his father. You probably have many questions about Shmuel, and I get that. I made my choice and I don’t regret it. I’ve been together with Shmuel for about a year now. When we first got here, I started exploring and after a while and met Shmuel. Shmuel is a Jewish boy, and he told me he was a prisoner. He was understanding and he understood the situation and helped me out a lot. That’s why I dedicated my life to Shmuel. Because I felt a connection. However, Gretel, I want you to promise me no matter what, to take care of mother. Dad, I can only hope by now, you find your haven. Even though our relationship hasn’t always been the best. I’m asking as your son, you can still change your lifestyle. Move back to Berlin with Gretel and mom, be happy there, I’m begging you, before it’s too late. However, I look forward to being with Shmuel and his father. Maybe also Pavel, he treated me remember? I´ve changed a lot since we got, here. Before I was happy, but all the things I’ve seen, Its tearing me apart from inside. Do you recall how it was like back then, in Berlin? I was playing all the time, and we where all happy, well mostly. I hope I’ve made you proud, because you made me proud. I wish you guys could understand me, you say it is important to tell the truth, but you are not telling the truth at all.
