There is only one place in this world where I go to find the purpose of life, “my childhood home”. In retrospect, the house has always been my sacred place. A salvation that gives a touch of peace, free from crooked negative things that annoy you. My home opens the door to a whirlpool of deep love for anyone who sees it and welcomes all souls. My childhood home is my paradise and hell. I was torn between admiring my own home and wanting a bigger purpose in life, but as I grew older, I knew I had to be grateful for ordinary joy. The feeling of security is very clean. It’s a throwback to a time when everything was simple, and happiness was easy to find in the most unexpected ways. I remember being annoyed every time my mom would push me to play the guitar, furious even, but as the years went by, I suddenly felt a touch of happiness whenever I touched my guitar, a feeling of relief as I knew how to play the chords of my favorite song, and I would think back and wish I would’ve thanked her for the push she gave me. Another good memory is that of jumping on the trampoline with my father, every day in the summer holidays I would be jumping on the trampoline while he would mow the lawn or be fixing up the rose bushes, every once in a while, he would even join me, and we would have the time of our lives. Even with my brothers I could have fun, the aroma of the house really concealed all the bad vibes, and we could really let loose as brothers, fights, and fun was a huge part of my everyday life. My mom and dad have had such a huge influence on me and my life, they’ve shown me what it is to be an adult and taught me that a house is not just bricks and hardwood, but a sanctuary, a place to relax and really be yourself, somewhere you can really find your own inner peace, its really been a lesson that’s going to stick with me, the ability to enjoy simple actions in life is something I will always cherish. My childhood home is a symbol of my childhood innocence and my selfless life. It is a place where I feel satisfied.
