The title of the song “Viva la Vida” means “long live life”

The song is a story about a king who lost his kingdom, and the album´s artwork is based on the idea of revolutionaries and guerrillas.

There is also another meaning between the text, which is to be surrounded by governments on the one hand, but also, we are people with emotions, and we are all going to die.

They are saying the theme of the song is “trying to remember what is important in your life, rather than being carried away by other things”

The artist

Ferdinand Victor Eugène Delacroix are the greatest artists of the Romantic period. He first studied with Jacques-Louis David but was later inspired by the colorful style of the Flemish baroque painter Peter Paul Rubens.

He was quite inspired and began to paint himself with the fine colors, in 1822 his first painting, "Dante's Bark", was exhibited at an exhibition "The Paris Salon" and two years later he achieved success with his painting "The Massacre of Chios".
