After living a life marked by racism and violence, I have now realized that the Neo Nazi society isn’t for me. It’s a shame that it took me so long to realize.

I have been in prison for almost 1,5 years, I’ve have almost served my time with only 6 months left and have only now understood and realized the mistakes I’ve made that sent me to jail in the first place. It’s the consequences of my own actions.

The first couple of months In jail I spend on figuring out how to survive, because I would not be able to survive on my own. I tried finding a group to stick with, to feel safe and protected with from the other prisoners. I soon noticed their strange behavior and started to realize that they weren’t protecting us, they were paying other gangs to protect us. I was furious when I found out, and quickly stopped interacting with them. They didn’t agree with me, and I sat around just waiting for them to attack me, and then one day it happened.

Currently I am sitting in my prison cell, thinking about my time in prison and the main reason I survived it. The main reason wasn’t a thing, but a person. His name is Lamont. I have worked through my time in jail, and the one person I was working with was him. He was very friendly towards me, but I wasn’t interested in being friends with an African American at the time. But he insisted on trying to be getting to know me and to help me. If it wouldn’t be for him, I wouldn’t have survived this long.
