American history x summary The movie takes place in a city in the United States. Derek, who is the main character in the movie lives here. He is the leader of a group of Nazis in the city, who hate all other races. One day when they are about to play basketball, a bunch of blacks comes over. They challenge each other and do agree that the losing team, will lose the right to play there forever.
