The americans decided that they would use their two atomic bombs fat man and little boy, to bomb Japan. Fat man was dropped on Hiroshima, and little boy was dropped on Nagasaki. As soon as the bombs were dropped, they instantly killed 140.000 people in Hiroshima and 74.000 in Nagasaki, and tens of thousounds of people later on due to radiation.
