Family is something that could compare to treasure. Not literally. YOU ARE NOT GETTING GOLD THROUGH YOUR FAMILY. What I mean by that is, that family is something you should treasure in life. When no one is there for you and you are all alone, you will always have a family to depend on.

When the term "Family" is used, it is not always used for people who are directly related to you. The people you see as family do not have to be your flesh and blood, but someone you can rely on. Someone who loves you, for who you are.

"When do you know when you have a family?" I can imagine that this question is asked often, but it is probably not answered in the right way.

You know that you have a family when you can feel safe near someone. Your flesh and blood do not always have to be your family. If they do not take care of you and love you for who you are, then they are not family. You have to feel safe and be yourself near someone to call them your family. You should be able to be happy near them.
