House boat

Hello my name is James. I am 37 years old. I am living on a boat together with my wife Sara. She is 35 years old. Together we have two children Daniel and Emily, and they are 15 and 13 years old. We have lived on this boat since my dad died of cancer six years ago. We love to live on the boat because it is quiet and peaceful. We have been in many different countries, but our favorite place is the small islands around Australia. It is so beautiful above and below the water. The boat has been in my family for five generations. My great-great grandfather built the boat back in the 1800s. Of course the boat has been renovated sometimes, but we try to keep it oldfashioned. Inside the boat there are two bedrooms, one bathroom, a living room and a kitchen. Daniel and Emily have to sleep together and it is not always good. However, it is not only good things that have happened on the boat. We have experienced sharks swimming around the boat and the worst weather. It's not funny to be on the boat when it's blowing and raining. We came home from our summer holiday when it suddenly blew up and started to rain very powerful. Daniel and Emily got terrified. It was hard for me to steer the boat, and thought about how disappointed my father would be, if I destroyed the boat. We were in the middle of the Atlantic Ocean so I could not sail to a harbor. I thought, "Why do we live on a house boat?" After two hours, the rain dies down and we got home peacefully. When we were back in Boston, Sara and I worked for seven months while Daniel and Emily were in school. We earned a lot of money to spend for something funny. For example diving or climbing, and a lot of other things. To day we have it really well on the boat. We have got some friends who also live on a house boat. They live in New York so we have moved our boat next to theirs. We have already agreed that we will go on holiday to the Fiji Islands together, so that will be nice.
