Last summer I went to a summer camp in Austria with my friend. It was an international camp where there were loads of people from many different countries. Me and my friend were the only Danish ones, so we had to speak English almost all the time, since the others couldn’t exactly speak Danish, and we didn’t know how to speak their language either. It was quite interesting to see and learn new things at this camp.
We did so many different things here, but I must say my three favorite things were sailing in a kayak, hiking the mountains, and overall, just seeing the country we were in.
I really liked hiking, since we got to see another country, we hadn’t visited before. The view in Austria was extraordinary, especially because we got to see it from high up in the mountains.
When we were sailing in kayak we were mostly surrounded by beautiful trees and a lovely lake. I must admit I was a little bit scared at first because it always felt like I was going to fall out of the kayak. All though everything was fine in the end, and it was amazing to go kayaking.
