I am interested in the job at the summer camp. My name Is Amanda, I am fifteen years old and I live in Denmark in a town called Taastrup. Right now I am going on a boarding school on something called Fyn. When I’m not at my school I live with my mom, dad and sister. This summer I would like to get a summer job that is why I am writing to you. I am very good with children, probably because my best friend has a little brother and we often babysit him. I would really like to get this job, because I love children, and I also like to be outside. I have also done horseback riding in many years, so I think I would really be suitable to this job. This summer I am not going to do so much, besides a vacation to Thailand. So this is a great opportunity to earn some money, and get some experience. I don’t have any younger siblings or any small children in my family. We are all over 12 years old. But as I have said, I have good experience from babysitting before. I have been horseback riding for about 10 years and that is also why I choose to apply for this job, I think it is a great chance to learn children about riding, and what it takes to handle an animal like that. I think this is a good opportunity to use my summer holiday reasonable, and try something new. And maybe I can get some experience I can use later in life. It was my mom that thought it would be a good idea if I was trying to find a summer job, and I am happy that I found a job to apply like this. If i could choose I would focus on the horseback riding with children, because it is something I really know something about, but I am also very open to sailing, swimming and trekking.
