Me and my family arrived at London City Airport around 10 am and headed straight to the tube. We stayed for one and a half days, so we only packed a backpack for each of us. That way it was also easier to get to the hotel by foot. We were staying at a hotel named The Savoy. From our window, we could see London Eye and its surroundings. The sun was shining, and England was looking beautiful. We unpacked at our hotel room, and my little siblings took a nap. We headed against Seven Dials which was our first stop. We took the metro there. When we came up from the metro we were overwhelmed by the fantastic colourful buildings. I spun around myself and saw to my surprise that the beautiful buildings kept on and on. My mom spotted a little café where we sat down to get a cup of afternoon tea and a bagel. By now it was already 8 pm so we started to return home, but my parents had as a surprise planned that we should take a ride in London Eye. It was amazing. I've never been that high up, and I can still feel the feeling of sitting 443 feet in the sky above London on a late summer night. It felt like flying. After that, we went straight back to the hotel and fell asleep immediately.
