The American dream concept was created after the “Declaration of independence” in 1776.

The “Declaration of independence” happened on 4th of July 1776, because the thirteen American colonies didn’t want to be a part of the British empire anymore, therefore they declared themselves independent. The “Declaration of independence” was approved by the representatives from the thirteen colonies at the Continental Congress. This is also called the birthday of the United States and has been celebrated ever since on the 4th of July.
