Is the digital word the biggest time waster for teenagers?

Many teenagers spend a lot of time on social media, because it is an integral part of young people's lives and a place where young people share pictures and show off elements of their lives. They see people/celebrities on social media that make them feel worse about their own lives and make them dislike their lives, which is due to mental health problems. Social media has gradually become a large part of everyday life for many young people. We live in a digitized world, which has left its mark on how we communicate, relax and be entertained, but there is also a downside to social media because social media can have a negative impact on young people.

For most young people in the US, screens are a big part of their lives today. Almost all teenagers have a smartphone, and they spend many hours a day staring at it watching videos, playing games and communicating through social media and that is a big problem that young people today spend so much time staring at social media. For most adolescents in the United States, screens are a big part of life. Nine out of 10 American teenagers have a smartphone, and they are spending many hours a day staring at it — watching videos, playing games and communicating through social media, recent surveys show. Here it is clear shown that the biggest attention and time wasters is often not an accurate or honest depiction of reality. Reality is not the same as what social media shows.
