In the article, Jonathan Liew is speaking about the racial problems against black men in
sports community. Talking about Black men being threatened, and not to mention the alot of
social media abuse directly to primarily black football players. The football player Marcus
Rashford even tweeted about people commenting him threads and such other things, where
he responded on his twitter “Humanity and social media at its worst. Yes i’m a black man and
i live everyday proud that I am. No one, or no comment, is going to make me feel any
different. So, sorry if you were looking for a strong reaction. You’re just simply not going to
get it here.” Where he says himself that he got amazing fans following him of all colours.
Colours that should be celebrated. As an example, you can see that the problem is not
affecting him as he is proud for his race, and proud of what he stands for. Besides that, it
hasn’t only affected the football players mentally but also physically. For example, the early
football player called Cyrille Regis got sent a bullet in the mail by a racist fan. How did that
“Fan” find his address? Where did he get that bullet from? So many questions could be asked
