"Choose life. Choose a career. Choose a family." These words said by Mark Renton in the ending of Trainspotting seem like an easy choice, but for some people they easier said than done.

Trainspotting is a movie about Mark Renton and his friends who struggle with addiction and conquering it. But Trainspotting is more than just a movie about drugs and addiction, its also a realistic look into the struggles that come with it. Economic hardship, escapism, friendship and betrayal are all themes that appear in the movie, and they are all very real.
