Child of the future

Suddenly the mother was standing in the door, looking at her 6 year old daughter.

“How is the weather in the country?” Mia asked.

“Sometimes it’s sunny. Sometimes it’s raining”, the mother said, and sat down on the bed beside Mia.

“Okay, I just don’t know, which of these clothes I’m going to pack,” Mia said, and looked at her winter coat and her summer dress.

The mother told her daughter that she could take both things with her to the country, where they were going to stay for a few weeks. They were going to visit Mia’s grandmother and grandfather, who were living at a farm. Mia was very excited, because she had never been at their farm. The grandparents had only visited Mia and her mother and father in their little house.

The next day the little family drove of in their black car, and after 3 hours they parked in the big entrance. Immediately Mia saw that the sky was blue and that there were flowers and vegetables in the garden.

“Mum, look at all the flowers!” Mia said, very happy.

“Yes, do you remember I once told you that the flowers couldn’t live in our garden, because of all the pollution from the big cars?”, the mother asked and looked at Mia, who sat and nodded. “The flowers can live here, because there are no big cars.”
