Child Soldiers and Child Workers

Why I chose the topic:I’ve chosen this topic because I think it’s a very interesting topic and because I once saw a film about a young African boy who where a child soldier and a young Asian girl who worked in the mines.Declaration of the Children rights§2 it basically says that you have the right to grow up and develop yourself, physically as well as spiritually in a normal healthy way. To live free and with dignity. I chose this paragraph because, you can’t grow up working in a mine or as soldier, and still develop you in a normal way, and definitely not with dignity. §9 it says that you shall not be forced to do work which can hinder your development. It also says that shouldn’t work before a minimum age. I picked it because first of all, as a child worker you are working under the minimum age, second of all, some children are forced to work. In the military, as well as in the mines.

Child soldier:

Back in medieval Europe there were used child soldiers. They used boys in the age of 12 and up. It basically just went downhill from there. The more children who were used, the younger they got.
