Martin Hammer Thygesen A modest child around 12 rushed through the park on his skateboard. People had an extended distance from him, so that they wouldn't get hit by that crazy little boy. Cause the little boy was crazy, but crazy enough to be extremely good. When he jumped from bench to bench to slide, he made either an Ollie, or 180o. People were captivated by the talent of this youthful schoolboy, even though he forced them to remove from their seats. The boy found every little object in the park to do some wild tricks on. He skated like an untamed animal, until it was afternoon. It was afternoon when he, for the first time that day, fell down of his skateboard. The pain was just too much, for that little child to bear. He grabbed the skateboard and threw it away in fury. He was really pathetic. After that little slip-up he continued skating, but this time it was followed by a number of mistakes. Finally the clock reached midnight, and the park was drained for people. The boy was exhausted and fell again, (this time in his attempt to do an 180o, after sliding on a fence.) Alone in the park he started to shed tears, because he just couldn't handle it anymore. And that was not only because of the physic pain, but more because of the psychic pain. The pressure was too much. Everyone counted on him. He just had to win that tournament, even though it seemed that only he knew, he was not able to win. He trained night and day to live up to the expectations but it was impossible. The demands and stress from his parents was the most unpleasant. They pushed him to stay awake, until dawn if it was for the sake of training. Since he had awful grades in school, he should live as a professional skater. Or at least that was what they thought.
